My Business Philosophy:

When you reach an obstacle, turn it into an opportunity. You have the choice to either rise above it and become successful or you can allow it to overcome you. The choice is yours. Go that extra mile that defeat refuses to travel. It is far better to be exhausted from success than to be rested from failure.

Background:

• I grew up in Abbotsford and graduated from W.J. Mouat
• I attended College and University in California and Arizona on Football Scholarships
• I played 10 years of Professional Football in the CFL with the BC Lions and Calgary Stampeders
• I am the Head Coach of Robert Bateman Sr. Varsity Football Team
• I am married with four children, two dogs, 2 fish and 1 cat

Awards and Achievements:

• In 2000, I won the Grey Cup with the BC lions as the starting middle linebacker
• In 2001, I won the Grey Cup again playing for the Calgary Stampeders
• In 2011, I was inducted into the Abbotsford Sports Hall Of Fame

Hobbies and Interests:

• Coaching football and mentoring Abbotsford's up and coming athletes to achieve their greatest potential in life and athletics
• I am involved with several CFL athletes in Game Ready Fitness, where we train young football players and help them to achieve University Scholarships through becoming top athletes

Interesting Fact about Me:

• I appeared on Wipeout Canada Athletes edition, which was filmed in Buenos Aires Argentina (and made it across the Big Balls!)
